1. What is True Muscle Fit?
It's the fit system we've spent a decade engineering for men who train. Fitted through the chest, arms and shoulders. Generous around the glutes and quads. Tapered at the waist and ankle. 4-way stretch fabric so it moves with you. Not slim fit. Not regular fit. Built specifically for athletic builds that standard sizing ignores.

2. How do I know which size to order?
Start with your chest measurement — that's the most reliable guide for tops. For trousers and shorts, go from your waist. Use the size guide on this page. If you're between sizes and the chest is the limiting factor, size up. The 4-way stretch and tapered waist mean you won't lose shape by going up a size.

3. I'm between sizes — what should I do?
Size up. Our fit is already tapered through the waist and body, so sizing up for the chest or shoulders won't leave you looking boxy. If you're genuinely on the line, the customers who size up are the ones who keep their order.

4. I'm muscular with a broad chest but a narrower waist — will this fit me?
Yes. That's exactly the body type we design for. The chest and shoulder cut is generous, the waist is tapered in. You won't be swimming in excess fabric around the midsection to accommodate the top half.

5. Does it run true to size?
Our sizing runs true to the measurements on the size guide. The most common reason for returns is customers ordering their standard high street size without measuring first. If you measure your chest and match it to the guide, you'll land in the right size.

6. Can I machine wash this?
Check the care label — most TA garments are machine washable but some exceptions apply. For those that are: wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, inside out. Air dry where possible. Tumble drying on high heat is the fastest way to damage stretch fibres and distort the fit. Full guidance by product category on our Care Guide.

7. Will it shrink?
Not if you follow the care instructions. Shrinkage is almost always caused by high-heat washing or tumble drying. Wash cool, air dry, and the garment will hold its shape.

8. Does the 4-way stretch mean it will lose its shape over time?
No. The stretch is built into the fabric construction, not achieved by over-stretching a standard fabric. Wash cool and air dry and it'll keep its shape wear after wear.

9. This item is out of stock — will it come back?
Popular sizes and styles do restock, but not always. Hit the 'Notify Me' button on the product page and we'll email you the moment it's available. Move quickly when that email lands — high-demand styles go fast.

10. Can I change my order after placing it?
We process orders quickly so there's a short window. Contact us immediately with your order number and the change you need — we can't guarantee changes once the order is in fulfilment, but we'll try.

11. Can I buy TA as a gift?
Yes. We recommend checking the size guide before ordering and keeping the gift receipt — the recipient can use our returns portal to exchange for a different size within 35 days of delivery.

12. How long will delivery take?
UK: 2–4 working days standard, 1–2 working days priority.
EU: 5–7 working days standard, 2–3 working days priority.
Rest of world: 7–10 working days standard, 2–3 working days priority. Free shipping thresholds apply — see checkout for your region.

13. My tracking hasn't updated — what do I do? Tracked orders sometimes take 1–2 business days to show movement after dispatch. If yours hasn't updated after 3 business days, contact us with your order number and we'll chase it down.

14. What's your return window?
35 days from the date you receive your order. Start your return at our Returns & Exchanges page.

15. How do I exchange for a different size?
Start a return through our Returns & Exchanges page. The fastest way to secure your new size is to return for a refund and place a new order immediately — especially if stock is limited. Include your full name and order number in the return package.

16. Are Last Chance items returnable?
No. Last Chance products are discontinued lines sold at a special price and are non-returnable. Your statutory rights are not affected.

17. Who pays for return shipping?
Return postage costs are the customer's responsibility. However, we aim to make the process as smooth as possible:

UK customers: We can provide a Royal Mail QR label for your return, which you can use at any Royal Mail collection point.

USA customers: Returns should be sent to our USA returns address. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and we recommend using a tracked shipping method to protect your return — we're unable to process refunds for returns lost in transit.

Rest of World customers: Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked shipping method. Please note that returns from the EU to our UK warehouse may incur customs charges, and we're unable to process refunds for returns lost in transit.

18. I missed the 35-day return window — what can I do?
Email support@tailoredathlete.com with your order number and explain the situation. We review these case by case. Orders sent back without contact after the window has closed will be returned to you.
